ReScape’s Advanced Professional Workshop “Compost and Mulch Best Practices” goes beyond the basics and dives deep into detailed best compost and mulch management practices to mitigate the effects of climate change by sequestering carbon and protecting a biodiverse ecosystem. We’ll share techniques for applying compost in different situations, how to specify the best quality compost, and what types of compost are suited to native plants and post-fire landscapes. We will share case studies that demonstrate how compost and mulch best practices create regenerative, beautiful and resilient landscapes.

We'll also discuss California's newest compost and mulch legislation and requirements relating to MWELO and SB1383.

This workshop is open to anyone. For public and private landscape professionals it is a solid foundation for our Fall 2023 Advanced Professional Workshops on MWELO and SB1383.

As a reminder, if you signed up to receive a ReScape Certification for this Workshop, please note that you will take a Certification Exam following the conclusion. Please reserve an additional 15-30 minutes to complete the Exam.
