California AB 1572: Water Conservation and Turf Regulation Legislation California Assembly Bill 1572 is a new law focused on the elimination of irrigation of nonfunctional turf with potable water on residential, commercial, and public properties. It introduces new landscaping standards, water-efficiency requirements, and enforcement guidelines.
