The Ruth Bancroft Garden has partnered with Contra Costa Water District and East Bay Municipal Utility District to present a self-guided tour of over 20 inspiring home gardens in Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, and Moraga. This tour highlights the beauty, creativity, and diversity of waterwise gardening in our local communities.

• Participants must provide their own transportation and can explore the gardens at their own pace.
• Tour runs from 9 am – 4 pm, with a lunch break from 12pm – 1 pm (Note: Gardens will be closed from 12 pm – 1 pm)
• Lunch is not provided, and the tour will take place rain or shine.
• To help manage visitor flow, the tour is organized into three circuits. Circuits A, B, and C all feature the same gardens, but are arranged in a different viewing order and starting location to help spread out tour-goers and allow them to start near their own homes.
