Re:wild Your Campus and Beyond: Imagining Toxics-Free Landscapes (Berkeley)

Mackenzie Feldman Co-Founder of Re:wild Your Campus and on the 30 Under 30 Forbes List for Social Impact is returning to her alma mater to share the journey of starting Herbicide Free CAL (now Re:wild Your Campus) in 2017 as a student athlete to launching a nonprofit after graduation. Re:wild Your Campus is leading a nationwide movement to transform campuses into vibrant, sustainable, and safe environments. They are on a mission to eliminate synthetic pesticides from all college campuses in the U.S. by 2030.

She will be joined by Allison Davis, Executive Director of Pesticide Action & Agroecology Network (PAN). Allison has spent her career working at the intersection of environmental health, equity and human rights. She has over 20 years of experience working with civil society organizations, including Oxfam America, where she evaluated the impacts of large agricultural investments by governments, banks and non profits on the lives of rural farmers. She joined PAN in 2023 to lead PAN’s mission is to end reliance on hazardous pesticides and achieve health, resilience and justice in food and farming.
