ReScape and the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities invite you to attend the second online meeting for the Regenerative Landscaping Working Group to address the climate crisis. We will be identifying for implementation regenerative landscape projects and programs in and around the Sacramento region. ReScape is a nonprofit organization that educates about and advocates for a regenerative approach to landscaping, workforce development and policy that works in harmony with the natural world and addresses the changing environment. City of Sacramento Department of Utilities’ three main sustainability goals are to become a carbon neutral utility by 2045, improve climate resiliency and to advance and prioritize climate equity. The Department is committed to demonstrating environmental stewardship by encouraging sustainable practices and maximizing water use efficiency in landscape, to help support the health of rivers and groundwater quality through stormwater management and to reduce water related energy consumption, which are key regenerative landscape strategies.
